A small shop with a reasonable stock of yarns, including the Dutch brand Scheepjes.  Also stocks haberdashery, and does clothes alterations.

Cahirciveen is on the main tourist route in Kerry, the Ring of Kerry, and there are always a lot of tourists and holidaymakers around in the summertime. It’s  on the way into town, from the Glenbeigh direction, and is just before the main shopping street, and might be passed by!

We’re a small but enthusiastic group of crafters meeting up every week to chat, squish yarn, ooh and ah at each other’s projects and generally have a good time.

We meet on Wednesdays in StarBucks (CastleCourt) from around 4.30pm and we’re usually there until 7pm or later.
