Cushendale Woollen Mills is one of the oldest woollen mills in full operation in Ireland. A family run business, they continue to produce quality 100% Irish made products in natural fibres including brushed mohair, bouclé mohair, Irish wool, lambswool and cotton chenille, remaining true to the tradition of using natural fibres and eco-friendly production processes.

Irish wool knitting yarn is produced in a flexible range of colours. Fabric lengths of any or their products are available.

The Yarn Room, selling at Dunlaoghaire People’s Park Market on Sundays. I am also willing to bring my mobile shop to knitting groups.

A selection of wools can be found for sale in their basement. They stock Patons and Tivoli among others. They also sell bamboo needles, knitting accessories, crochet hooks and some patterns. Good selection considering their small amount of floor space.
