Hello to all in Limerick… I started knitting a year ago and I love it. Maybe I love it a bit too much (my husband and children have their bags packed and are ready to go… but at least they will be warm in all their knitted gear!!!) I’d describe myself at the intermediate stage of knitting and I’d love to find a workshop or group to share tips and ideas etc. etc. If such a group exists or someone is starting one up please let me know… I’ll be the first there

I live just outside Limerick City and would love to meet up once a week with like minded knitters! I have googled on numerous occasions but nothing ever comes up for this type of event. If anybody out there wants help in setting up or has already done so please get in touch

    Hi There,
We have a little knitting group in Killaloe. We meet every Thursday morning at Wood brothers cafe in Killaloe. There is great enthusiasm but only two consistant knitters. All levels are welcome as well as cross stitchers and embroiderers. If anyone is interested feel free to contact me.

    Hi everyone,
I am a handwork teacher in the Steiner school in Tuamgraney where the children in class 1 learn to knit. However, one of the children has very bad eyesight and finds knitting challenging. In order to help him I would like to borrow a pair of giant knitting needles (app. 1 mtr long) so he gets a real feel for it. Can someone help me???
